Description
User Story¶
As a player, I want to launch a fiery projectile that explodes on impact, so that I can deal area fire damage and trigger elemental interactions.
Description¶
- Fires a fireball projectile that detonates upon impact, dealing area damage.
- Applies the Burning effect, causing damage over time.
- Wind Interaction: Extends the duration of Burning, making fire effects last longer.
- Earth Interaction: Creates Molten Coating, dealing high damage over time and slowing enemies.
- Lightning Interaction: Triggers an area explosion, dealing additional fire damage.
Test Cases¶
- Verify that Inferno Blast deals fire-based damage upon impact.
- Ensure that Inferno Blast explodes on impact, affecting nearby enemies.
- Confirm that Inferno Blast applies the Burning effect to targets hit.
- Validate that combining Inferno Blast with Wind increases Burning duration.
- Ensure that combining Inferno Blast with Earth creates Molten Coating, slowing enemies.
- Confirm that combining Inferno Blast with Lightning triggers an additional explosion.
- Check that Inferno Blast does not work if the player is out of mana (if applicable).
